On April 13, 2012, SALC is hosting the 3rd Annual Nearly Naked Mile! Students are invited to strip off and donate excess layers of clothing before the start of the race. Remember - bathing suit area(s) must be covered! Also, if Nearly Naked isn't your thing come in a fun costume! You must donate at least one piece of clothing to participate!
Food vouchers for Campustown businesses (Pizza Pit and Fighting Burrito!) will be provided after the race!
Important Race and Registration Information
Registration for the Nearly Naked Mile has closed! The cost is $10, which goes to pay for t-shirt and food after the race. The sign-up deadline to be guaranteed a t-shirt is 4 p.m. on Friday, April 6. Runners can sign-up on the day of the race, but t-shirts and sizes will be extremely limited. Only cash will be accepted on the day of the race.
Things have changed since last year! There will be no pre-registration, and you must pick up your shirt at the end of the race, which will end at the Alumni Center.
The route has changed! The race will now begin and end at the Alumni Center, as it has in the past. Click here for the updated race route! T-shirts will still only be distributed at the end of the race!
Race-day registration and check-in is from 8-8:45 p.m. on Friday, April 13 at the ISU Alumni Center. You will be be able to drop of your donated clothing at that time. The 2012 Nearly Naked Mile will begin at 9 p.m., starting and ending at the Alumni Center. T-shirts will be distributed at the end of the race only!
