Senior Leadership Recognition Award 2010
The ninth annual Senior Leadership Recognition Award, sponsored by the Senior Class Council (SCC) and the ISU Alumni Association, honors up to ten graduating senior student leaders who have dedicated their energy and talents to improving campus life at Iowa State University, have participated in a variety of on-and-off campus experiences, and have demonstrated growth and learning in leadership and community service. Students should be in good academic standing with the university, have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average, and will graduate in Spring, Summer, or Fall 2010.
Criteria for selecting the award will be based on the diversity of leadership roles held; activities participated in; and work experience, which might include internships, study abroad, and volunteer positions. Emphasis will be placed on the creativity and diversity of the applicant’s experiences and accomplishments.
It is a great accomplishment to be selected as a recipient of this award. All winners will receive an engraved plaque, a complimentary one-year membership to the ISU Alumni Association, an Iowa State Daily advertisement recognizing the winners, and a press release sent to your hometown newspaper.
Winners will be honored at the VEISHEA Leadership, Faculty, and Organization Recognition Ceremony on Tuesday, April 13th, 2010.
