One award of $1000 (renewable at $500) and one for $500 (renewable at $250) is available to a first year student from a high school in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. Student must have been admitted to Iowa State and rank in the top 25% of their high school class. Selection is based on academic achievement, leadership capability and financial need. Must maintain a 2.50 GPA for renewable scholarship.
