One award of $1,000 (renewable at $500) and one for $500 (renewable at $250) is available to a first-year student from a high school in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Student must rank in the top 25 percent of high school class. Selection will be based on leadership capabilities, academic achievements, character, personality, and financial need. Must maintain a 2.50 GPA to remain eligible for renewal.

Deadline: Offer of admission by March 15, 2008
Application by April 30, 2008
Complete and mail FAFSA by March 15, 2008
